I have been married for 15 years now. It was arranged, and I met him just a few days before the wedding. We realized there was no intimacy but were hoping we will bond as we spend more time. 2 kids and a decade later, I slowly started losing myself. I am unhappy and anxious all the time. We have nothing in common and donÂ’t enjoy each otherÂ’s company. He is in it because we are supposed to. I am in it for the kids. We have lived in denial so far and feel stuck. Everyone around us can see it but I am too scared to leave for my kids. We are now co-habiting well but canÂ’t move forward with our lives. Divorce is scary. What can I do?

Was this a religious arranged marriage?

I agree divorce is hard. Especially with kids. But babe you have to do what is best for you. Happy wife equals happy life. So do what you need to do. Sometimes the hardest path reaps the greatest reward. Lean on a counselor to help you through. My husband and I are going through a trial separation instead of going straight to divorce. Google trial separation. It’s easier to slowly peal the bandaid off instead of ripping it off, in my opinion.
