I am divorcing my husband of 29 years, he left 6 years ago. This is all so painful. What does one do with the pain and loneliness? How do you cope? I have twin grand babies coming in the spring, so that helps keep me going. My husband and I have no communication, well it’s one-sided , as I have texted him about our 8 kids. He never responds. He has zero relationship with his children. It is the most painful part of it all. How can you abandon your children?
Sincerely
Bethanyrose
Thanks for this!

I really don't know. I have never been through a divorce (I have never had a husband either).

I hope you can find a way through it and come out the other side. we're all here for you!

(I'm sorry I can't be more helpful!)

Hi Bethanyrose. I'm in Michigan too! My divorce was final a year and a half ago after 32 years of marriage. Yup, it hurts. I allow myself to feel my feels, get 'em out and move on. The marriage was not happy. It was best to end it. You have to decide to put it behind you and look forward. You have to think of you. Whatever he does or doesn't do is about him, not you. Nope, it is not easy. Some days are better than others. But I can only control what I can control. And I prefer to be happy. So I forge ahead focusing on things that will make me happy. You have the perfect focus in those upcoming new twin grandbabies! You are so lucky!! Good luck to you. PM me if you like. I wish you the best.
