It has been one year since my ex and I officially decided to get divorced (actual divorce was final about 8 months ago). The decision had some tramatic aspects to it, so I decided I wanted to mark the event of getting though one year. I went out and bought myself a ring over the weekend. I really like it and I hope that when I look at it I'll remember everything I've gotten through.

Very cool! Thank you for telling us about this, very inspiring.

If you want, can you describe the ring?

Thanks Sunny & Cedar! It was really a good thing for me to be able to celebrate getting though such a hard year. I'm looking forward to telling my T how I celebrated.

The ring has a thick silver band and 3 stones of slightly different red/orange colors. Each stone is a slightly different circle shape/size, so its fairly modern looking. The jewler said it has some garnet in the stones, but it wasn't expensive enough to be 100% garnet.

Good for YOU!!! What a wonderful idea. I am going through a painful break up right now, I think I've gotten through the worst of it, but I am looking forward to getting to the other side. I hope this next year is full of adventures and good good things for you!
