Hi!
A couple of days ago it was 18 months ago since I last purged. My eating disorder was quite serious in 2011. But I am qetting better every day. I did my recovery on my own and was never hospitalised. I didnīt get very much support from my family at the time. Itīs not until now they have started to realise that it was quite severe. Iīm a lot better today fortunately though Iīm worried to go back to old habbits. Not necessarily binging but overeating and starving. How do I caught the signs early so it donīt get serious again. Want to be happy

Thanks for sharing Mitch, it's good to know you were able to get better. I struggle with bulimia. I really have to pay attention to the portions I put on my plate--they need to be reasonable--not too much and yet enough. My firm rule is that I never go back for seconds even if the first plate tasted really good. I think that--proportion size--has been a key element in me getting better. I also don't eat sweets such as cookies and donuts unless its just a small amount (and infrequent.) Fruits like fuji apples are sweet enough that they curb my desire to eat sweets....D.
