I have been binge eating for a very long time especially when I am bored or depressed Iam going to start retricting my food intake starting tomorrow and star vomitting my food up

instead of focusing on the food, why not focus on the reasons you are eating. the boredom and depression. look for other things to do to distract yourself from eating. watch a funny movie on tv, read a book, exercise, anything to get your mind off eating and feel better about yourself. take care.

When a child’s emotional needs are not met and a child is repeatedly hurt and abused, this deeply and profoundly affects the child’s development. Wanting those unmet childhood needs in adulthood. Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.

Oh no! You don't want to start down that dangerous path of binge purging! It's REALLY hard to get over. I still have occasional issues. I actually had an episode a few weeks ago, after being 'over' it for nearly a year. I guess once a year isn't that bad- but please, seek treatment- a dietician would actually be a better choice for you.

Kaloipe gave you suggestions of how to distract yourself from doing that behavior....so you would rather purge than follow suggestions from others who struggle with it so badly & know just how bad it really is?
