I really don't think age has anything to do with having an eating disorder ... imo

I have anorexia & I have only had it since the begining of this year & im 29. It does not matter how old you are you can still get anorexia I have heard of people in there 60's & a small child of about 6yrs having anorexia. befor I became anorexic I was 9st 13lb & people would not think I was that heavy as I carried my weight well it sounds like you are the same I would tell them that you are greatfull that they care about you so much but You dont have a ED & that you would like them to stop going on at you about it.

Take Care

age definately has nothing to do with anorexia. Or bulimia for that matter. people who are 30 and 40 can have it. there is no age limit. I think people think that anorexia and bulimia only happens with young people because they are more vulnerable to developing those behaviors. there are some cases where people grow up and still dont know that being to thin is not healthy. so therefor, they can become anorexic and not know it.
But there are also people that just have a really fast metabolism. And when they have a really fast metabolism, they can eat so much and not gain an ounce.

Maybe a more relevant question is 'do you have problems with food'? Do you get a daily calorie intake within the recommended range? Do you starve yourself or engage in purging behaviour?
