I just went to the doctor today, and he weighed me. I weighed 117. I am a recovered anorexic and bulimic. Is it normal to gain that much weight after being anorexic and bulimic. I am scared to death of gaining weight! but I am anyway. I hate it! someone please help me! Is it normal?!

hey there. it is normal, but i think it depends on how long it has been. just talk to the doctor about it if you can. i had to as well. when i stopped, i gained like 10 pounds in a month. my doctor said that was fast, but that he thought it was ok. it just depends. just keep an eye on it. =) i hope you start feeling better. pm if you need anything, i think i know what you are going through. ok.
always, musik

yup, it's normal...i weigh around 5kg more than i did prior to becoming anorexic and i am recovered now. it bothered me to begin with but now i love the way my body looks.... eating disorders are traumatic on ur body so it way well change things a bit. if ur a healthy weight for ur height and can maintain that weight try not to worry too much!
