Nervous about this weekend because it's gonna be a big food weekend. My metabolism is so screwed that even if I eat 3 meals for 2 days, I end up gaining a lot of weight. I'm fasting today to make up for all the eating. Just want to be thin.

I don't have much advice but I can offer you some support. Please try to be yourself and having a good health is the most important thing. You cannot enjoy anything if you are not well physically and mentally. A few pounds up, a few pounds down - it does not make a difference as long as you are happy and enjoying things/people around you. May be if you try to seek the beauty around you and focus a little less on the scale of your weight-machine, it may help you get a better perspective. You are blessed with food on your table and family or friends around you who are organising such an event on a weekend. I bet a lot of people facing hunger/famine or people who don't have friends or family would be willing to swap their lives with you. I hope you find peace and happiness! My best!

Tangerine go to myfitnesspal.com and start logging your food. It will give you a birds eye view if you are getting all the macro and micro nutrients. Do not set it to lose more than a pound of week just for now. This app helps me stay on track .

Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors. |

Being thin isn't everything. But I feel you. Unfortunately, all I want is to be thin too
