I am 22yrs old, and have been purging my food for a few yrs, but I eat healthy and maintain a normal body weight most of the time... I don't binge eat or anything, but I do skip meals from time to time and have picked up some habits that are anorexic in nature..
I don't know if i should just keep quiet or tell some one I'm afraid I'm going to disappoint my family and friends if i do tell.. What is a girl to do?

I know exactly how you feel. I am only fifteen, but I have been struggling with it too for a while. Id say the best thing for you to do first is to talk to your doctor. they can tell you weather or not you have a problem. and they can give you help on what you need to do next. If you think you have a problem, you maybe do. There are some behaviours that are really distressing you to make you think this.
It is sooo much easier to get treatment early on and get better before you damage your body, even if you are a healthy weight and don't binge, purging can cause permanent damage to your body and people die from it because it alters your electrolytes which can stop your heart - That doesn't mean you have to put your life on hold and go to hospital or tell everyone about your problems, start with going to your doctor, or maybe a counsellor at college.
