Hi, im having some trouble these days. I struggle with ED NOS. I am pretty sure that no one knows about it. I mean, I don't think anyone can tell. How do I tell someone that I need help but am not yet completely ready to accept help? And also, what can school counselors do to help me at school if at all?

School counselors can talk to you a little bit, and can give you a referral if you need treatment. How do you know that you have an eating disorder? Is there someone who has diagnosed it and is treating you? NOS can mean lots of things, as it refers to any eating disorder symptoms that don't meet the other criteria. Would you like to tell us about what it means for you?

When I started therapy, I remember telling my T that I needed help with being able to start therapy again, and needed some encouragement. You could just say that you are struggling and need some encouragement to get some help.

yeah. well I was diagnosed about two years ago when I was 13. The doctors at first said that I was Bulimic, but then they changed it and said that I was both Bulimic and Anorexic. So yeah. I was doing really good for a while, and then lately I have been really stressed at school and at home and its been getting worse. Im kinda scared to tell my therapist because Im not sure what will happen this time. But I know that I need too. And I know that my parents wont understand. So I just don't know what to do.

I would tell your therapist so you can get the help you want. I think it will mostly be "support" so you aren't so stressed! Your therapist and suggest who else you can talk to or talk to them for you perhaps.
