I did not know where to post this so here goes ...

For the last few weeks ive been sick by the smell and looks of food ,and even water makes my tummy turn and so my clinic thinks im dehydrated and need fluids and maybe iv nutrition till i can eat without gagging .

I dont know if my body is not used to food anymore or if my body stomach is just sleeping idk it is really bothersome for me ,what can i do esp on Halloween when there is candy the thought of candy makes my tummy turn .

Take sips of water throughout the day, water is really important. Try little nibbles of saltine crackers, plain crackers, toast, bland food, small amounts little and often. Consult your doctor if it continues much longer particularly if you are dehydrated. If you have severe stomach pain or vomiting blood go to ER

I see in your posts and profile you have eating disorders. the best thing I can tell you is to keep doing what ever your doctors are telling you to do. to change or not do that could cause you to have even more problems. heres an example. my sibling has an eating disorder. she went online and someone told her some things to eat and try. what happened is she tried them and ended up in the hospital because even though the items were just food things to eat and drink it caused her to become even more dehydrated sick to stomach.

just keep going like your doctors are telling you to do is the best way to go.

If this has been going on for any length of time and is continuing to go on, you may need to get an IV for nutrition and hydration. Please keep your doctor in the loop. Best wishes. I hope you feel better soon.

Have you been referred to gastrointestinal specialist? If not i recommend seeking one.
Changes in medical conditions?
Changes in meds? (Of any kind)
Any events, or special dates around onset of symptoms?
Things to think about. I hope you get relief soon!
Thanks for this!

I hope you've gotten over the nausea and gagging. I was that way for a while. But I got back on my safe foods and gradually got reacquainted with food.
Smoking cannabis would have helpful for the nausea and lack of appetite.
Honestly, I can not eat w/o smoking cannabis first.
