Hi
I have EDNOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified; I think it has a new name now). It started developing when I was a kid. I remember having issues as young as 5 y/o. I've been in therapy & support groups. I'm on my own now. I feel like I'm relapsing...

I don't have much advice to offer except I have the same diagnosis. Hugs to you.
Thanks for this!

I’m so sorry you feel like your relapsing. I have been in treatment for anorexia for 4 years now and I think the biggest advice I can give on not relapsing is to confide in your support system. I have had many moments where it was easy to fall back into that horrible cycle, but when you talk to your family and trusted friends, it helps you realize you’re not alone.

Please keep fighting, I know you can do this and you are not alone. Keep posting on this forum if you need support that you can’t always reach in your life because I’m sure there are plenty of positive people online who are more than willing to offer advice.

xx

Is there a stressor that has shown up in your life lately? I have found my anorexia relapses (probably EDNOS also after regaining a safe weight) has always been tied to a new stress showing up in my life. For me, losing my appetite has always been a side effect to stress.....for others it's eating for comfort.....but increased stress is usually a foundational cause for relapses.
