Happy Thursday all from the sunny SE!

Has anyone out there ever been to an OA meeting? I went back in the 90's-used to meet at my church but now across the street. I thought I'd go next Thursday.

They also have online/phone meetings and an e-mail/pen pal service-you pay $10 for the directory-I think that's a yearly fee???
Check overeatersanonymous.org for the facts.

just a question??? really would like your thoughts...

all the talk about eating in OA... to me would trigger me to purge...

or... do they do something else... besides talking about eating.. not eating....

it would make me soooo uncomfortable... to sit in a group every week... talking about food...

am I the only one??

food is constantly on my mind anyway so for me, talking about it relieves a bit of the secrecy / tension of dealing with it alone.. also getting tips for dealing with binges and recovery advice is always good..
