From compulsive overeater...to near anorexic.

I do have plenty of weight to lose so in some ways maybe it's a good thing.

But I have barely been eating 1,000 calories, or less, a day. For the past 2 weeks or so.

I'm not quite sure why.

The good news is I haven't had a huge binge in over 3 weeks!!

The bad news is....I went 36 hours on coffee alone...no food.

Yikes, I kind of know how you feel though, I get "thoughts" (I say thoughts because I never carry them through) of just going an entire day or two without anything to eat at all, except drinking water. I think maybe if you are trying to loose weight than maybe a 1200 calorie diet would be a bit more healthy and not borderline anorexic.

But I must say: Yay for no binging!
I wish I could say the same, my breakfast and dinner went fairly well, but I toatally ate way too much at lunch.

It is possible to be both anorexic and bulimic. That is my diagnosis. I went to a residential tx program in 1998 for 6 months. It helped...a lot. I struggled for a couple of years after, but it wasnt quite as bad. My weight had actually dropped to about 80 pounds. Today, I am a healthy weight...I dont starve, nor binge and purge. I really dont know what made the difference, except hubby and I moved a province away from all of our family. It hurts to think that this move has played a role in healing, but the truth is, I believe it has.

Take care of yourself...be good to yourself. You can do this...and life can be good my dear.

Try to eat a bit more than that if you can... good job on no huge bingeing for over 3 weeks though!
