Does anybody have a hard time sleeping?

I've realized that eating late at night makes me feel so guilty and anxious and it keeps me awake. or if i fall asleep, i wake up every couple of hours.
today i was up and awake for the day before 5:30...i ate late, and i feel like complete crap about it now.. guess i know what to work on first..

Yes, if I eat late at night, I have a hard time sleeping.

Just last night, I went to bed early (to avoid eating!!) and was lying in bed, sleepy, reading....and I looked up and the HUGEST BUG was on my wall. I went to get dh to get rid of it, but then I was out of bed and awake and ended up eating. Oy. Then, of course, I was all energized by food and couldn't get to sleep.

On the other hand, if I go to bed really hungry, the hunger keeps me awake.

I guess the secret is in finding that balance. "Eating right" is a COMPLETE mystery to me. I often wonder....how did I get to this age and I still don't know how to FEED myself?!?!?

i think im going to start setting a "bedtime" for myself, and not eat at least 2 hours before that time.. that way i will eat my last snack or dinner at a certain time everynight and get into some sort of schedule. (im a student but college is out for summer, so my schedule is all out of wack..aka not helping my eating!)
what do you think?

Me!

Something about stomach being unsettled I'd imagine.

I have trouble sleeping if I don't eat (and my stomach is rumbling) as well.
