alright... i have a question.

I dont have insurance so ive never been to a doctor to be diagnosed..
so i was wondering if anyone could decide what i might be classified as.

-when i get emotional i binge/purge
-i love to restric/water fasts
-i'm a "normal" weight for my height
-if i think i've eaten too much, i eat a little more just to Make myself get it out.
-i cant go a day without a purge.

there are so many different classifications..this has been going on for almost a year, and because im not underweight i've never thought it was a big enough deal. (i know it is, but i havent lost enough weight for anyone to give a %#@&#! yet.)

any one with any answers would be greatly appreciated

erm~ You do have many options to get help w/ out insurance. Check out the Forums on PC they have categories you can choose from. I am v/ concerned with your esophagus which is approx. 10 in. long & pushes food one way through a valve & then into your your stomach. The stomach is extremely acidic, it's hydrochloric acid. Purging EVERY day, you are bringing up the stomach acid which WILL eat through the valve through the esophagus and lead to a nightmare of pain & suffering, cancer and even death.
Get help ok? erm....?

I'm with Holmes on this one. Doesn't much matter what you call it... If you are purging that much, then it's a (big) problem for your health. Sounds most similar to Bulimia, so if you want to check out online resources you can start with that. However, getting professional treatment is the most important thing. Do some research and find out where there is a free or reduced fee health clinic in your area.

Take good care of yourself,

Erm~
You may find it helpful to investigate PC's RESOURCE FORUM for Low Cost Psychotherapy & it is important to note low cost is NOT a reflection of skills & effectiveness (my experiences were excellent!)
Our own Doc John has written articles on finding a therapy that's right for you that is w/in your budget. A point to begin
http://psychcentral.com/lib/2007/fin...hotherapy?pp=1 I hope this informamation is helpful.

Please get the help you need Erm. I am wishing you brighter days, a lighter spirit, a happier heart. Be well my friend.
