Ok i need help! I love to eat! I usually pig out at meals, and i have a lot of snacks during the day! Its not cause im sad or anything but i just love food! does anyone have any tips on how to stop? and dont recomend drinking water to beat hunger pangs.. i tried but i keep drinking it over and over cuz i get hungry! And my meals are the perfect size so its not that im under eating! so please reply!

I have (sort of) the same problem. The only thing that doesn't fail miserbly and makes my over eating spiral out of contol is to conciously make an effort before grabbing anything if I am really hungry, should I eat this as opossed to something healthier, etc. It is SUCH a major pain, believe me. Nobody said there is an easy way (I don't think there is) but despite the fact that it's really annoying for me, it works, and after awhile of doing this I don't have to anymore because I broke the habbit for a good long time until something triggers it again.

Hmmm i suppose i could eat healthier for the snacks.. hey thats a pretty good idea! Of course i'll still be eaying but i can have like fruit or sumthing instrad of a sandwitch like i normally have! thanks

![]() My personal favorite snacks are things like cherries, grapes, and fruit cups. (I used to eat pinaple too but apparently I'm really, really, allergic to pineapple so I can't eat it anymore) because they are fruit, it's very good for you, so you can eat it as much as you want and not feel too terribly guilty about it (everything in moderation though) plus fruit tastes alot better then vegetables in my opinion. My dad gripes that there are alot of natural sugars in fruit, but I think the benefits outweigh the amount of sugar in them. Aparently, the BEST fruit for you is the apple. (And not just because it keeps the doctor away either) which is good because it's the easiest to get ahold of, and it's probably the most filling (for me at least.) |
