Hi all. Wanted to write in. I am 15 years old and a gymnast. My father is concerned i may have a problem with eating disorder and my mom tells him he is crazy wrong. And I tend to side with her. I have been training since I was 3 -4 years old and this is my dream and i am working so hard to make the big show and pay my family back, and to make my dream come true! I dont know what to do. I am confused as to whether or not i have a problem. Today was my last day training and i get 3 days off now! Can you believe it!? I am excited! I have morrow, sat and sunday off! It is nuts. Today was hard. I got weighed in today again, my coach was upset i seemed heavier....at least a little, and well, then he just ragged on me all day there! I feeling so useless and huge right now it isnt even funny. Someone please write in. Thanks

Hi again flip... did you read the thread I posted here today? It has helps about eating and such and elite athletes like you...

Just remember flippin food is what keepsyour strength up.Without enough of it your body will start eating away at your muscles,which will affect your gymnastics in a big way.Dont mean to scare u ,just dont want you to make the same mistake so many of us have made.
