I am too scared to eat. The last time I ate was early yesterday morning, I had a small piece of chicken and a couple of bites of chocolate, I am trying to control what I eat and don't really know why, I feel really shaky and weak but I can't bring myself to eat. I don't know what to do anymore. I feel lost

If you were to go see the doctor, what would you hope to gain from it? Are you looking for emotional support or feel the physical aspects need to be addressed?

What exactly are you afraid of? Being force-fed?

I'm too scared to leave my house, and sitting in a crowded waiting room just makes me feel sick, and I know that if I do eventually see the doctor that I wouldn't be able to bring myself to tell him everything. It's hard to ask for help from any professional as I don't trust them.

I tend to avoid people too. Is it possible that you could call the office and speak to the nurse? maybe you could explain that you are struggling but really nervous to come in and see the doctor. It is never an easy thing to talk about but they are used to seeing all sorts of people in all sorts of circumstances. I hope you can find the courage to go in if you need to.

hugs hun I am also not eating well and to scared to ask for help also. I just saw my doctor was able to tell him I lost wight but when he ask me "why do you think you are losing wight?" I wonted to say I am losing weight because I am restricting what I eat to very little but when I went to tell him all that I could do was shrug my sholders and say "I don't know". After that I was thinking of how to tell him I think maybe if I write it down and give it to him that might work because I can wright what I feel but can't say it out loud. I hope this idea might help you and I hope you find the help you are looking for.
