Okay so the other day my mother asked me how I kept loosing all the weight they I have lost. She asked are you bulimic or something, I sisnt answer cause you see,I went from almost 230 pounds back to 150 in not a very long time. I did that whole special K challenge thing and it worked but it didnt seem to work enough. When I started loosing weight, I kept wanting to loose more and more. I couldnt get any results by doing exercise and eating right so when my family wasnt around I would run to the bathrooma and vomit everything I had ate that day until i didnt feel ashamed anymore. Well I guess she asked my step dad about it and he said that he thought I was, and we were joking about loosing weight in the car the other night and he was liek your mother and I talked about you being bulimic and I said oh is that where she got the idea from was you. He was like no no no Im just playing around, and I didnt believe him, so are they really onto to me or do you really think he was just kidding. I hope their not onto me, but if they are it might be a good thing.

Maybe they are onto you and maybe it is a good thing, because.. It seems like.. You realise that at first you were in control of your eating and dieting, which is great, but now, you've lost that control and vomiting your food up is something that's becoming habitual for you and you feel there's no turning back in a way.. Could I be right?
Do you want to get out of having to vomit up your food in order to make you feel better? And just be able to live a normal life, consuming healthy amounts of food and being able to exercise and feel happy about that? I know I'm struggling with my ED atm and such, but.. Maybe it's about time you took control of you and your life, your eating etc. Don't let yourself feel guilty for eating something.. If you work, or go to school or college, you probably burn that off anyway, whatever amount of calories you've eaten, you burn off, othewise why would the guideline amount of calories be 2000? Please, please try and talk to someone about this, add the SWEDA support people on msn, or email them. I will post the address here for you tonight, I'm not at home at the momentm so don't have it, but it might be a good idea, although they are only situated here in the UK, but they could still be of some use to you, possibly.. Would you like me to do that for you? They've been an incredible help to me too ![]() I hope things start to look up for you soon take care of yourself *hugs you gently* and PM me anytime, Kirsten |

I think he never thought I would be doing it because hes always telling me how strong of a person I am and all that other stuff, but Im hoping to get better.

Wow, LoosingControl21!! That's great!
I'm so, so glad that you sat down and chatted to them about it and I'm even more glad that they're being there for you, supporting you so much. That's great! They must love you very much. Maybe your Step Father is being distant because he's shocked and upset by it and doesn't want to hurt you by showing that? Maybe he wants to let you and your Mum sort this out together? I hope you get to see someone who will truly help you ![]() ![]() |
