In 31 years, I've accumulated enough anger inside me to demolish a concrete building with bare hands. So, where does it all go ? Well, it comes out at the gym when I'm lifting.

You will not believe how potent a fuel anger can be, in the gym or wherever you exercise. Why unleash it at our coworkers or, God forbid, at our loved ones at home ? Let's reserve it for harmless (in fact, helpful) venting out at the gym.

Just try this out once or twice, and tell me what you think !

While I'm lifting, I quite literally remind myself of specific times in my life when people have disappointed me or wronged me. In my particular case, it's mostly the countless injustices in the world, the alienation by people all around me, and the many rejections by women. It gives me a boost and a kick like you wouldn't believe. I try to visualize people laughing at me or saying nasty things, and boy oh boy, ... those last few reps become effortless

"I'll show them" ... and when I look in the mirror, ... I find that I have

That's one of the many problems many people have. They had issues with someone else and they allow that to build up in their heart. Shockingly, they unleash it on their spouses, children, coworkers, and so forth instead of dealing with it by letting it go. It seems like you have just discovered a new of dealing with your anger.

Thanks, yes, I try. It is a very effective anger release tool for me. Of course, needless to say, exercise serves a million other purposes, but anger venting is a great one !

Yes, I found that out myself. It's an effective way to release that energy in s socially acceptable manner.
