Hello everyone, never been in this forum before. I started doing some walking at the park doing 10,000 steps which came close to 10,000 steps. I haven't done any walking lately getting myself ready to do a short term job which I want to keep things steady before wearing myself out. Anyway, I am trying to make changes as to what I eat. It's not easy I love my sweets: cake, cookies, candy, etc. I have such a horrible sweet tooth and I know they say you want something sweet eat fruit it doesn't taste good if it ain't chocolate lmao!
I want to be able to control my sweet tooth by eating more fruits. I had a grapefruit for breakfast this morning and have been eating fruits for breakfast. I don't eat cereal anymore tired of eating from a box! I used to eat quite a bit of salads but stopped because of money issues. I am looking to incorporate a small amount of veggies/fruits into my diet with my small budget if possible. I'd love to eat more organic/raw foods but that is out of my budget, so I just want to start small. I do want to go to a gym on campus but have to do that later on so just been walking the park because it's free. Does anybody have any tips/tricks when it comes to not binging or rushing to eat a cookie all the time? What would you suggest going to a restaurant to eat? I always get a burger, fries, etc I always have veggies in my burger. |

although i swore i would never ever be able to do it, cause i beleive that chocolate thing too, i was a big ice cream fanatic, straight from the box. and i was going overboard every night. i think it was a new med making me binge. but i put on seven pounds in a month. i had to do something so while still bingeing i just ate healthier things with reduced calories. like olive oil mayo having a third of the calories of regular. 45 calorie slices of bread instead of 110. but the big deal was.........i was able to switch out my ice cream for greek yogurt. my favorite is the dannon 80 calorie version and then i mix that with a couple scoops of vanilla sprinkled with a little go lean crisp...it has less calories than granola......it is so thick and creamy, it is like ice cream, just not as cold. you could even add fruit if you wanted. i dont because of the added calories. i am a horrible eater but now i am getting my calcium and protein every day, something that was lacking in my diet before.

Your first step could be adding Stevia in your coffee/tea/milk/shakes/whatever, instead of real sugar. The best trick to having more discipline is .... you have to WANT TO SEE RESULTS BADLY. I'm not trying to sound like a hardass ... I really mean this. It's how bad you want it ... and if you want it bad enough, you'll do what it takes to get it. No shortcuts out there. Just hard work and discipline. It helps if you have the motivation. WANT IT. |
