As in knowing someone who is married, has gorgeous kids, filthy rich, close friends and successful businesses? Is it the way that some people do end up with everything?

It is possible to have it all, but that does not guarantee happiness. ( I'd like to disprove the theory that money does not buy happiness, but no one will give me a million dollars to do the experiment

Don't ever believe what you see...people who seem to have it all.....don't...they are human and have problems just like anyone else....behind closed doors...arguments, alcoholism, abuse, etc., etc.....you only know what you see.
Look at celebrities; some of them have such messed up lives, and yet to outsiders seem to have everything....not |

Hi Jenni, Once I saw an interview with the great Paul Newman. The interviewer asked Paul if he felt he was more talented or more special than other actors he knew who hadn't become as famous. Paul's answer? "No. I don't think I'm more talented or more special. I think I am very, very lucky."
I believe that. I believe that some people are just plain luckier than others. I have no idea why...there are a million possibilities. But from my experience it just seems like some people are in the right place at the right time more often than other people are. |

I'd say no, just because it's human nature to want what we don't have. Some people are able to find peace/satisfaction once they get to a certain point, but it's only natural that even if a person achieved their own version of a "best case scenario," they would still wonder from time to time about the paths untaken.

Nope. We're never truly satisfied and need to be problem solvers so i would say it's contradictory to the nature of our species. Besides who cares for superficiality...if you have no brains in your head, no family/friends who truly love you and your whole life is consumed with the thought of money - 'having it all' arguably means very little.
