On my dresser, which I keep very organized, was a piece of paper with a pen on it that says "accour" maybe i was writing accourding, according misspelled ... but I don't usually write that kind of word in a note to myself...

lately, I have been under a lot of stress. Of note, I was at work, and I go outside every day for my break for a cigarette. But a couple weeks back, I went, had my cigarette I guess, but I don't remember much of it, I was in my head, thinking about things, I walked back into the office and "came to", immediately stopped, looked down at myself to make sure I had my clothes on or like I didnt walk into the office unkept... It was weird. I was just gone, but going to the routine of the cigarette break.

There's other lapses lately

Now this note... I have no idea when I wrote it, why I wrote it, when I got the pen and paper. But It's sitting on my dresser... must have happened today.

There are a couple of YouTube videos by a band called Accour. No idea if that has anything to do with what you wrote.

Hello coyotee,

We can't diagnose here but it does sound like a type of dissociation to me, especially if you have been under a lot of stress. Here is a link all about dissociation >>>> In-Depth: Understanding Dissociative Disorders | Psych Central Good self-care and psychotherapy can be very helpful. It is worth going to see your doctor about this as there are also other conditions that could be causing these blanks in your memory.
