Just wondered, how can you tell if someone is lying through text or facebook messaging. Just curious if it is possible.

I'd say with texts, connect the dots, see if they say something that clashes with what they said before. When we only have text and no real expressions, we have to look for patterns.

When it comes to FB, I don't know many who are truthful there.

Sometimes they will offer up reasons or excuses or alibis before you even ask for them.

If you notice they're thinking ahead and trying to counteract a prediction of your reaction, it might be a sign that they're trying to hide something.
