is there a name for a disorder where a person perceives injury and lashes back with imaginary things?

it could fit one of the criteria of several disorders but not a disorder itself. welcome to psych central. you will find we have several forums where you can post about your concerns and receive feedback from other members. you will get a lot of support here. again, welcome

when i was first sick, i would pretend i was killing people that hurt me, in my mind, probably because i was abused by them. there was also no way to get back at them as they were not around. i guess i just did it in my imagination, but after getting help i havn't done that in years.

You are not alone. There are many nice, caring people here. Feel free to private message me or any community liason by left clicking on their name underlined in blue to the left of the post and selecting Send a private message to .....[their name] There are many forums here at Psych Central http://forums.psychcentral.com After 5 posts you can do the Chat Room Forums at Psych Central - Calendar I try to get exercise, yoga and other gentle stretching exercises and meditation to help me get started in the morning. It helps me deal with some of the problems all around me and gives me a silent refuge.
