I feel like I don't want anything from life. I feel like I'm not here, this isn't happening. Like I have to be reminded that there is a world and people are doing things and feeling things. But I don't feel anything and have no desire to do anything. I have no desires at all. I feel like I'm not real and I'm not really living.

Paradox, this sounds like an acute case of Depression.

My recommendation is that you seek professional help. Preferably real soon. If this resources are unavailable to you then at least see your family doctor. That is a start. If it is worse than that - if you have thoughts of hurting yourself - call a crisis line or even 911.
Thanks for this!

I agree with rcat. Sometimes depression is very painful and sad. Sometimes it causes irritability. It can also cause the symptoms that you're describing. What you're describing sounds a bit like depersonalization, too. I'm mostly basing that on posts I've seen on this forum. I've only experienced mild symptoms of depersonalization before and it was a while ago.

Can you make an appointment to see your primary care doctor if you have one? If you don't have one and don't have health insurance, you can call United Way at 211 and ask them about community mental health agencies in your area that you can see without insurance.

I hope you'll see a doctor or psychotherapist.
Thanks for this!

Time to see a doctor. You both sound depressed. You are thinking fatalistically.

Paradox - I made some recommendations to alleviate some of the symptoms of anxiety and depression in your thread about Stress.

Things to be careful of: rumination (obsessing negatively about a certain situation in your life past or present), inactivity, fluctuating sleep pattern, fluctuating appetite, lack of natural light.
