Hello ,
I am new here- I have a concern about some symptoms I have been experiencing and wondered if anyone else ever had this happen:

I have been experiencing some weird symptoms of my anxiety. Usually happens when I am tired or laying in bed. I sometimes will think I see like a spider or bug crawling on the wall. Crazy right? But it just disappears. This morning- I was laying in bed- still kind of tired but awake. All of a sudden - this weird mosquito appeared on my lampshade and crawled a couple of inches and then vanished. At first I thought it was really happening- and then realized what happened. But- later on today- I had stopped at fast food place to grab a quick lunch. As I am opening my hamburger, I saw a small mosquito thing flying around - I shooed it away and it seemed to have vanished. Now I find myself questioning the experience..."did I really see that or was that in my imagination again?" This has been bothering my all day....

I am wondering if anyone else ever experienced anything like this?

Hello cavyqueen, welcome. Are you on any type of meds? That could be the reason you're seeing this, maybe? You may need to have your eyes checked if you are just seeing this out of the corner of your eye. I hope things go well for you.

While in bed your fell asleep and did not know it, and dreamed the spider. At the burger joint, the bug was real.

I am not on any drugs for anxiety or mental health issues. And I am not seeing this out of the corner of my eye. It's kind of weird and freaking me out a little. It has happened before- a couple of years ago. But I can't remember if I was under a large amount of stress like I am now.

I agree. It could be something as simple as floaters.
