Hello.
I don't know what is my illness, but I suffer from it for 10 years. I have sexual obsession, unwanted thought, image, let's say oral sex. It's delusion, like I have an oral sex with somebody. It's almost always present when I am not occupied by something. I have temporal lobe epilepsy (frequent seizures), I've been on antipsychotic drugs for this obsession. It's not Obessive-compulsive disorder, but it's not a psychosis too. I don't know what is this. Please help me. |

Why do you think it's not OCD? OCD can present itself in unwanted thoughts:

I think Jenny is right. That sounds like ocd. It maybe not the traditional ocd but it's defiantly it. Maybe you can run this by your psychiatrist.

Sounds more like Obsessive compulsive disorder than psychosis. the thought is an obsession not a delusion. If you walked around and saw strangers and felt that you knew them for years it may be a delusion. If you feel like you knew what others are thinking that would be a delusional.
if you have a reoccurring sexual fantasy that's an obsession. |

I'm thinking more along the lines of 'Compulsion'....definitely something to speak with your therapist about if it is causing disruptions in your daily life.

I have the same problem but along with sexual thoughts I get obsessed with ideas, things I want, worries, and other unwanted thoughts. My mind becomes like a broken record, but a few different themes can exist at once, after obsessing over one thing for a while my brain will start obsessing about another obsession, and they pile onto each other, until it feels like brain is in a vice and I feel trapped. I was diagnosed as OCD for this and prescribed me luvox which is supposed to work good for OCD.
