I am finally leaving the mental health clinic where the therapist is trying to downplay my health that was effected by the paxil taper a 50% reduction that i have taken 13 yrs. My other therapist was terminated because she wrote a letter to the court saying I am unable to work after the reduction and reintroduction. This is a hospital network. Anyone have better treatment in a hospital than a mental health clinic. I'm going through a long divorce with a lot of emotional abuse.

Hey Eyesclosed~ I'm so sorry you are struggling (with the meds, divorce, the emotional abuse, the work situation AND the therapist situation; I bet that's just the tip of the iceberg)
![]() After having valuable treatment/therapy in the hospital from one provider~ it took me some time to find my current therapist. My insurance even got a bit upset with all my intake/Evals. But it won't be worth your time (I dare say it may even be detrimental) if it's not a good fit. Sounds like you already know that. |

The fact that you are feeling put down my your T's take on what is happening to you is never a good sign. A change may be just what you need. I persisted with the wrong p'doc for 4 years. When I eventually switched over to a new P'doc it was like night and day. So much better.
Hang on in there until you find a T that you know does hear you. |
