Hi. I've posted this in new members forum and didn't mean to.. My problem is I am imaginating conversations in my head with my friends, crush or a celebrity. But the problem is sometimes I am talking even out loud to them. I don't think it's normal. It happens almost everytime I am not talking or around people. It feels like the conversation is happening in future. Any idea what to do with it? I don't think I have issue with relationships with friends but I just prefer telling things in my head to people I don't know that much (crush, celebrity etc.) I am afraid I might have some mental illness..

Okay, there's voices in one's head that are normal and voices that are signs of being delusional. Similarly there is talking to one's self that is quite normal and talking to one's self that does present a problem.

Questioning to ourselves whether we are dressed okay for example, while probably a sign of anxiety, would I believe be normal. Rehearsing a conversation you need to have fits into the same category.

Having a social conversation with a voice (whether it be of someone you know or otherwise) I think warrants talking to your psychiatrist.

Hi sixie, You sound like a very creative person. Authors imagine conversations in their heads, and they write them down and call it 'dialogue.'

Now, if you're talking out loud around other people and cannot stop yourself, that could be a problem. If not, there doesn't seem (to me) to be anything to worry about.
Thanks for this!

I do the same thing, except I don't talk out loud because my dad does that and it bothers me. But if I'm alone, I'll start screaming until I can't scream anymore.

Sounds normal if you create these conversations.
Thanks for this!

Are they you with experiences have they informed you of that? Are they invaliding that you might not be imagining? Only way to know for sure is go to a great therapist to talk about what is going on. Do they need guidance a way to give themselves name the lingo so that there is no grey area. It could be the only term that you exposed yourselves to everybody knows imaginary friends.

Fictive Factives introjects can be consistent with alter types dissocaitive identity disorder only problem is you gotta know they are you. It isn't that bad although good therapy can be really painful on how they got to be. It could also be something else lol...

I was going to say just visit a social media maybe you just need to say soemthing to them get pass a fear or just process of elimination
