it's not only about relationship, it applies to everything.
i don't seem to trust anything or anyone in this world except my mom. somehow i feel so betrayed usually i look like a happy extroverted bubbly girl, but i have problems in keeping friends, even though making friends is no problem for me. people say i have no circle. i just jump around, fortunately people except me, but i still feel VERY lonely and alone. like i have nothing to depend on and that i have to be strong always, and alone. i dont open up, im scared but i dont wanna be like that, it's just sad to know your friends just don't know how to approach you anymore and that you feel left out. at the same time i know that I am the one who's behind all these problems. pls help i cant take it anymore ![]() |

Trust is not "all or nothing". Try to remember this. Have you read any books about setting boundaries? Boundaries can allow you some space to trust "a little bit" one person, in just one area in this one relationship so that you are protecting yourself while testing out this trust thing. You will find some people deserve your trust. Start small because some people don't deserve your trust at all and could hurt you.

I agree. Start small and build up. You are capable of trust. You trust your mom. You could pick your most trustworthy friend and slowly build your trust.
If this continues, please seek a therapist. You don't want to carry this baggage around the rest of your life. Sending big hugs. ![]() |

You are not the one behind the problems you face. You do have to Trust yourself first. You have the final say so about what others say about you.

A tried and true is Codependent No More. I read it years ago and it is still in print, we know it has lasting power. Melody Beattie is the author. Hope you enjoy! ❤️ |
