I have been placed back on my ADD meds and I don't seem to be responding to them the way I remember....I get confused on what to do and which medicine and dosage is best...I get easily frustrated and lose concentration which then causes anxiety and depression

Well... people's responses to medications can-&-do change over time. So I don't think you can presume that you would necessarily have the same response to your ADD meds now that you had in the past. But also, it can take a while for your body to adjust once you start a med. So, depending on how long you've been back on these med's, perhaps they just need some additional time to "settle in", so to speak. Perhaps the best way of handling this would be to consult with your prescriber regarding what you are experiencing. Best wishes...

Yes, if you are unsure of the dosage and what to take when, get back to your doctor to confirm. An adjustment might be needed anyway.

I getting a bit confused......It seems that ssri meds negate the or blunt out my ADD meds...any thoughts on what antidepressant or category of antidepressants I might apply...I have read that certain tricyclics can boost efficacy....or perhaps I just need to adjust the dosage of my ADD med....it seems I have a very high tolerance to my meds all of a sudden...thanks
