Hello,
I have been consistently passively suicidal for the past few years. I have been placed on risperidone which decreased my rage and anger and am now on another atypical antipsychotic vraylar. I am looking for advice from people with a better understanding of mental illness than my therapist. One of my doctors diagnosed me with anxiety from avoidant personality disorder and then schizophreniform disorder after I started having visual hallucinations. Also, I have started self-injuring since I went to see my therapist because that is the only type of illness she will actually see as a mental illness. My mother had an eating disorder when I was young and my aunt has schizophrenia so I am predisposed to these illnesses. Sorry for the depressing posts.

Its Okay Mate,
I Just want to say take proper rest and do something like exercise for mental health, medication or yoga also that is more effective than any other treatment. I guess these things will help you.

Hi mermanleon411,

Welcome to PC.

Your diagnostic history sounds confusing. No wonder you are trying to sort it out. It would be helpful if your pdoc and your T could find some common ground, diagnostically. We cannot diagnose; yet, we can support you!

Please visit forums and post wherever you feel led to do so. The more you interact here, the more you get out of this experience.

Keep posting!

I don't know if you know already whats going on, but you should seek other kind of therapist or suportive person, sometimes with mental illnes isnt good to look at diferent symptoms, but looking through them maybe youll understand whats going on by analizing yourself and your life, also bad expiriences with psychologist can cause more issues in your life. Analize a little bit and take a break, i hope you get better or find your answers
