there is a site called 7 Cups of Tea, that often has one-on-one or group 'moderated' chats... you can try that if you are wanting conversation...

Forum? I don’t know.

FB, I did belong to a depression and anxiety group. The women continuously complained about men sending them PMs, and admins continuously stated it’s not a dating site. After I joined an age-tiered chat group, it happened to me too, so I left.

It was very active, but fast-moving and disorganized because you can’t make sub forums, just posts and replies. So it was all very random and annoying.
Thanks for this!

other than the chaos of facebook groups, most of which are a waste of time because of all the people *****ing about nothing, i've yet to find some place else. tried NAMI but they are even more dead than this place.
Thanks for this!

How much more active do you want than this? This is very active.

I agree! By the time my deluge of posts are honed down to a few the topic is already dead!

The only thing that I odd is that the number of people viewing sub forums don’t seem to translate into posts. I don’t know where those thousands of posts are located.

I will also say this on FB most of the people have never picked up a book or took a class to learn about their diagnosis. Yet someone newly diagnosed will post and ask a question. These uninformed FB people will give them incorrect information. Also in the FB mental health groups they talk about crap that has nothing to do with mental health. Me, myself personally I don’t care about your man problems. I’ve been around PC since 2012 and I notice it’s more lively at night.
Some people deal with insomnia. I use to and I would be PC late at night too. Keep in mind some people live in other countries. Also if you have a smart phone you can download Tapatalk. Then use it to log into PC. Tapatalk allows you to subscribe to threads and receive notifications when there’s a new post.

-Best

Patients Like Me is a forum, but not all that active.

PC is one of the most active forums I've ever been on. Are you posting on some of the less popular boards, maybe?
Thanks for this!

All I am saying is you post something and if your lucky you may get a reply or two. Although 100s of people have viewed it.
Thanks for this!

Ohhh...yeah. Many of us have felt upset over that - the number of people viewing vs. the number of replies. There are just a lot of lurkers. Also, the longer you've been here and the more you interact, the more people will reply to you.
Thanks for this!

Depends on your disorder too, I’ve found (assuming you mean one of the mental illness forums?). If you have more than one, maybe posting in a forum for the other would help? For example, I have found the bipolar forum here is very active, but the eating disorder forum is not, and I deal with both, along with panic/anxiety. I use another forum for the ED stuff though sadly it has become less active these last few years.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
