So let me tell a little story that I feel is a microcosm for my life. A couple weeks ago I was mowing the lawn, a task that should normally take about 20 mins took me over an hour because I had let it go for over a month. The mower kept clogging up and dying and I had to empty the bag before going around even once. The whole time I was thinking “Why do I do this crap to myself?” But how do I stop?

I just don’t know why I have made my life so much harder than it needed to be.

I'm the same but I sure don't call that self sabotaging. I'm just really bad at some stuff like starting a task. It takes more mental energy than I have.

I agree with the WISE and WONDERFUL -jimi, @Annoyedgrun84! You're not sabotaging yourself - it can be just hard to restart and to get used to some activities we haven't been doing for a LONG time! Please be kind to yourself and keep practicing! One step at the time, you'll get better at it I am SURE of that! Definitely keep practicing and let us know how it goes! Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH You, @annoyedgrunt84, your Family, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Please keep fighting and keep rocking as much as you possibly can like you're already wonderfully doing entirely on your own! KEEP FIGHTING AND KEEP ROCKING!
