Not sure where to post this...

I wonder if there's a free self-assessment tool (or method) to gauge cognitive decline?

I feel like I'm becoming disabled very gradually because I seem to be able to do less in a day than weeks ago. Almost everything I do is a struggle. At work I am confused sometimes. It's not just physical exhaustion but also brain fog.

I do have sleep apnea; it's somewhat controlled with a CPAP machine, but there are many days I feel like I could sleep all day and still not feel refreshed. Two recent blood tests show high iron saturation and sensitivity to mold, trees and cats. So maybe that's the problem. I intend to follow up on that.

My weight is normal, but perhaps I have depression.

But I'm most afraid about Lewy Body Dementia. I had a distant cousin that was diagnosed with that. He declined very quickly and died. One thing that his sister told me was that he lost all his belief in religion during his illness. That's where I'm at, too. I liken it to how if you lost your sense of smell during the pandemic that it was likely you had COVID.

I have no idea what the answer is but I wanted to let you know I saw this and could relate. I joined a senior center and I’m among the youngest but I seem to be slow compared to them. I’m constantly making bad moves and forgetting what’s trump. I worry that decades of psych meds has caused cognitive decline.
