Snow, snow and, sigh...even more snow. 3 major storms due our way...wahhh.
Was makin plans to go to Cali for a bit, not now though....forced to wait out these storms as I have 7 summits to cross to get to Cali...and the Sierra is the second of the worst....boohoo....
Aw well..in time.
MUCH rather wait out the storms than to drive n get stuck in a blizzard. NO thanks!!

Fog, fog, and more fog. Been in the upper 30s, most of the snow is gone. I am ready for sun, sun and more sun!

We had a ice storm yesterday and it's still icy out today - as it melts the power wires get heavier and the chances are good that we may lose power if the wind comes up. Some areas have been without power in Iowa and western IL since yesterday morning. I live in North Western IL, 33 miles east of the Davenport/Bettendorf, Iowa border.

Lovely and warm. Calm and peaceful. Just recently though. Gale force winds have finally decided to calm down a bit and give us some relief. Unfortunately no rain.............. we need it so much. Only enough water until August!

Sunny and in the mid-60's, after a series of storms have now cleared out. It was cool and different to see some hail too, since it's usually sunny every day of the year here. It was a nice change to see those tiny chunks of ice. First round was about an inch in diameter, but the next round was about a quarter of an inch, like a pencil eraser.

More rain is predicted for mid-week, but not nearly as heavy as we have gotten the past week.
Thanks for this!

After a few days of drying out, it's supposed to rain again today, but not quite so hard. Also, it is supposed to be just a one day event... We'll see, as they are often wrong about their predictions.

After a decent mild spell it has dropped to -24C tonight. Hope everyone keeps their pets indoors.

It's been drying out over the past week after a series of storms, so it's been sunny and in the mid to upper 60's. Nights in the 40's and 50's. But now we're in for another series of storms starting mid week. I hope it won't be as strong as last time.

HarrietGate, you're right....

Kitty is always indoors. She even has a heated pet bed that she's really enjoying these days.
Thanks for this!

Snow. Again.

Roads are slippery so Yoda will be staying home awhile.
