Humid, windy, cloudy, and cold...though it's just above freezing, which makes it a lot more pleasant to be outside than it has been recently. It's supposed to start snowing tonight and continue snowing for the next two days! I like snow and winter a lot, but I'm really ready for it to be spring now.

A beautiful day.. Sunny and in the 40s... Expecting maybe a foot or more of snow starting Friday night and Saturday. Some say some areas might get 20 inches. But I doubt we will get that much snow.....................yipeeeeee snowwwwww

We are in the middle of a blizzard. From yesterday afternoon until this morning, 22 inches have fallen. Winds are up to 30 mph making for zero visibility. We may get another ten inches today.

On a good note, the snow gave me a day off today. I haven't had a Saturday off since my vacation in July!

Snow here since yesterday morning. Wet and heavy; I was out after midnight last night to clear some off azaleas, holly, and cedar trees. One of my azaleas is now totally buried. I have been out twice since to do more snow removal. Temperature yesterday was above freezing and today is just below, so you can guess how heavy the snow is. Lots of broken tree limbs.

It is still snowing.

I heard that the snowfall at National Airport was 14.4 inches -- and that was hours ago. It is still snowing. Some areas around here got well into the twenties.

I just looked out in back. Snow has slid off the roof and my three new azaleas are completely buried in what must be three feet of snow. I wonder if they will survive.

Ha! Guess I was wrong. We got snow... Lots and lots of snow.. We might get up to 30 inches of this beautiful white stuff.. Looks soo pretty outside...Snow is over puppy's head....Was funny, the look on his face when he ran outside. And he immediately ran back inside.

Pachy, beautiful pictures, yet.....hazardous weather I know. I didn't notice you were from the Washington DC area; I feel for you. Stay safe!I would get such BAD "CABIN FEVER" in weather like that!!!

We had in comparison a mild rainstorm over the weekend, so now it's drying out for a day. Another one is coming tomorrow, but it's predicted to be minor. After that, it looks clear, with temps in the mid-60's. Nights in the upper 40's.

Looks like we are going to get another foot or maybe more of snow. High winds and maybe power outages along with the snow is what the weather man/lady is predicting.
Might be a cold, dark few days.... brrrrrrrr.. wishing we had a fireplace....

We're waiting for the snow that's supposed to start during the AM commute. but...it's New England so if you don't like the weather, wait a minute....
No big deal...it's the norm for us. At least it will be pretty.

I'm not really sure of our weather at the moment, but I'm sure it's still there and doing whatever it's supposed to be doing. My guess.....it's probably cold - and still winter.

The roads are yukky today. I was supposed to drive six hours round trip today to take my son and me to the university dental school but had to reschedule. We got a few inches of snow a few days ago but the weather has been staying in the low thirties so the roads were okay. But now the wet roads have frozen with temp in the teens and more snow on top of the ice just to make it nice and slippery. School canceled again. I have plenty of cat food and horse food. Yoda will be staying home. More snow in the forecast. I hope the electric stays on.

Although its sunny, its cold. Very erratic here in England. Sometimes rain, sometimes snow, sometimes sun.
