Just came home with a new container of ice cream. I love this flavor- Fried ice cream. WalMart is the only place I have found it. Anyone else like that flavor?
Thanks for this!

Interesting... is that Yarnell's by any chance?

Here in the South where I live there is a ice cream company that comes up with all kinds of special kooky ice cream flavors depending on the time of the year, this year is Pumpkin Pie Ice cream

The best yet was HOG Wild, it was brownie chunks in brownie batter ice cream with fudge ripples
Thanks for this!

I like Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey.

New York Super Fudge Chunk is a close second.

This is Premium Homemade brand- has cinamon ice cream with honey caramel swirls and crunchy cinamon tortilla pieces. Gone thru a gallon of this just this week.

Sabrina, in America, specifically southwest America and Mexico, there is a special desert called Fried Icecream. If I'm not mistaken, they take a very, very solidly frozen circle of icecream and roll it in a mixture of pieces of cinnamon tortilla chips, sometimes a little coconut, and other things I'm not sure of and quickly flash fry it. When it comes to your table, it is fried crispy on the outside and is crunchy and warm. On the inside, is cold, frozen ice cream. That's why it's called Fried IceCream.

I've heard about fried ice cream for years, but have never found it. We don't have a WalMart here in SF (WalMart is considered evil here), but I'm gonna make the trip to one out of town so I can finally taste this ice cream!

Till then, I remain a chunky monkey. Mike

I love Vanilla Bean ice cream with a sprinkle of Chocolate Malt Instant Breakfast...mash em up together...makes that gritty malty texture....YUMMMY.

There is the brand "Daneli", out of Canada, I believe, who makes this Cherry Chunk.OMG. Cherry icecream with these chocolate covered cups of cherries (tiny cherry cordials)..it was to die for. It was the only flavor of ice cream that I just couldn't stop eating once started.

And there is also the Ice Cream Parlor called Cold Stone. They toss the ice cream on that ice cold slab of stone marble and kneed the ice cream to a wonderful texture, add whatever suits your fancy. Now THAT is a great place for REAL ice cream. I love the BananaStrawberry in their home made cone bowls....addicting.
Can't find those up in this small hick country town though....wahhhhh.

Right now I am hooked on the Mango sorbet. I first tried it this summer at Baskins & Robins 31 flavors ice cream store....but it was seasonal. Then I was shopping for ice cream at WalMart & found it there....expensive in the little tiny cartons.....the flavor is out of this world. I scrape a few bites with a spoon out of the carton at a time & enjoy it. When I was at Kroeger's, I found a Mango sherbert but the taste was nothing like the sorbet....it came in a huge carton, thinking how great to have a huge amount....but don't care for the taste of that one.

My other favorite flavor is peach ice cream....with raspberry sauce over it.....feel like I'm in heaven while eating those wonderful flavors.

Of course, I buy the plain vanilla for my dogs....then get a treat now & then....they love ice cream just like I do.

I have heard of Cold Stone creameries. Never tried them. Around here they are part of Tim Horton's coffee shops. There is one a few blocks away but I have only been in it once, prices too high for this old cheapskate.

Crumbs along the mohawk is my favorite ice cream, but it's a local one really... so I'll put up their description "Graham cracker flavored ice cream liberally sprinkled with graham cracker pieces and laced with a caramel swirl." and I also love regular vanilla ice cream with maplr syrup on top

Ice Cream is my down fall. If it isn't in the house, I don't have to run out and buy it. But when I have a cravin' I go to McDonald's and spend $1.00 for a cone! Most of the time

They used to serve fried ice cream at a Mexican restaurant called Chi Chis but they closed.

It was vanilla ice cream rolled in wheat germ and cinnamon and deep fried served with just a bit of caramel. Or at least that's how it seemed to be made. Good stuff. I haven't seen your brand yet. I tried a cinnamon ice cream from Schwan's but it was one of their few ice creams I didn't care much for. The collie liked it though.

Ohhh ice cream my favorite subject

I tried the fried ice cream and I don't ike it at all. Something about the tortllias I don't like the texture of them.
But I did find an ice cream I could just live on forever lol and I can only find it at Wal~Mart too. But it's Banana Pudding ice cream. It tastes just like banana pudding. Complete with the little vanilla cookies.

How about those coffee ice cream drinks Baskin Robbins makes? With whipped cream and cinnamon. mmmmmmm

Schwans has a pretty good espresso ice cream. I think I will have to buy some and create my own drink.

Sugar and caffeine!!!!!!
