Are you talking about going to 'customize your profile'? Make sure you go all the way down and click 'save changes. Not sure if this is what you're talking about or if my info is helpful. Good luck.

I would like to know how to get those fancy backgrounds but I am bit of a clutz on the computer LOL.

Oh, I know how to change them, just can't change this one back...it's the one set up for phones and doesn't have all the bells and wistles. I will keep working on it.

I was. But once you choose mobile, there is no way to change it back. I can't see anything but the posts and responses. I don't havve access to the full site anymore...it's like being blind. This sucks.

NF, I did that once and had to get the admin's to help me get it back. You might try sending a PM to someone....it might be quicker. I was new, tho. But I'm sure I couldn't figure it out in the end and had to ask for help. Sucks, doesn't it.

Or maybe the Tech Assist people?

lynn, if you go down to the bottom of the psych central forums page you'll see a menu bar on the left hand side. it is right under where the time is listed on the page. just click on the arrows on the bar and choose your new custom style.

Yes, you can change your skin from the main forum page down at the bottom.

However, under the control panel, in the edit options section, at the bottom of the page, there is a place where you can set the "Master" skin function. This must be on DEFAULT if you want to be able to switch between skins on the main page. If you switch it from default to "spring" or "mobile" then it makes these skins the new default...and once you get "mobile" on your default...it becomes a real bear to fix because you lose access to the majority of the site. You are not able to make changes easily at all.

It sucks....

Thank you so much, Elysium, I changed my default under "Options" so that *maybe* if I ever do that again (hope I don't) it might make a difference.
