Byz, other than torturing them by taking the salt away, what ever do you do with them?

OmG! This made me smile. I do believe in "aliens" because to think we are totally alone in the huge universe feels too self important to me. I think they have been here many times and some are living here. (ok send it the men in white coats )
I love anything unexplained, conspiracy theories, and supernatural.

I ended up watching a 7 part documentary on youtube last night... on the "alien interview" video, and "victor" the guy who supposedly smuggled the video out of area 51. It was very, very interesting.

Oh, and here's your ant farm for you:

I am like a little kid with this stuff I just LOVE it, lol.

*Puts salt in coffee

Maybe they were aliens who were abducted by aliens from another planet and dumped them off on earth? We can't know everything about all the aliens. Look at it this way..do the aliens know that some people like ketchup on their eggs?

I think it was LoveGael (sorry if I got your username wrong) who asked if there were any movies about aliens being abducted. It's not exactly aliens being abducted, but District 9 (a fictional movie) has aliens as being treated by humans like crap when they crash on our world. I highly recommend the movie, anyway.

I am not at all surprised that your search was fruitless, Chris. Aliens are by nature quite private. Besides, their craftsmen make excellent tin foil hats that even Google cannot penetrate.

I did once. It was in the early 1960s. My mom taught home economics and we were going in early so she and students could prepare breakfast for staff, I think it was probably about 5am when we saw the UFO. We had just pulled onto the roadway and we saw something shaped like a rocket about five feet long with lights. It was not very high above ground and from its angle it appeared to be taking off from a field across from our farm. A neighbor who was out early feeding his cows also saw it. My father did not believe me and my mother.

I saw one quite similar to this last pic.
Living in Nevada bout 25 years ago, (they have the Naval bombing training base there).
Anyone who's traveled in Nevada can relate to how boring the drive can be on highway 50, which has been titled "The loneliest road in America": Hundreds of miles of a 2 lane road leading to nowhere (in both directions)...lol. And driving at night on that road, with it so pitch black with open range for hundreds of miles, one has to remain alert so not to hit any cows which might happen to wander near the road.

I was driving at night hen I saw the craft, at first it seemed very faint in the distance in front of me. I first thought that it was the military at practice with their bombing training. I've witnessed many of those episodes before, but those were always done toward the side of the mountains, away from the highway. This time was different as it was directly in front of me as though right on the highway. As I drove toward it, I assumed that I'd be able to see it better, however, it oddly remained at the same distance for quite a long time. It was glowing with a faint green tint. Unusual.
Eventually, the craft began to (what appeared to have) project extremely bright beams of light to the ground, (still quite a distance ahead of me). The beams would shoot down, disappear, shoot again, scan, disappear, (as though assessing the land). Curious, I was eager to get a closer look at it.
As I was driving, the craft maintained this repeated behavior for what seemed like a good hour, or better, (still maintaining the same distance).
Then it suddenly became surprisingly larger, much closer and far brighter. I slowed to a full stop to get a more accurate look at it. It hovered still, shooting the beams of light, zipped to the left, stopped still, more beams of light, zipped to the right, stopped, again projects another series of light, then jetted off upward, suddenly stops to a still, then poof.....gone.
The angles this craft flew, and the suddenness of the stops, hovering still like it was...nothing I'd ever seen before.

That was the only time I was fortunate enough to see, what I'm convinced was, a UFO.

Thanks for the story Mary . Very interesting . There is a man I know in town who claims he definitely saw one back in the 90's . He has no pictures though so it's just his word. He lives in the country so it is very dark at night and he claims he clearly saw one.

I am familiar with those names. Travis Walton was another interesting case. Gulf Breeze here in Florida had some interesting sightings at one time. I'm not sure what happened to the show Conspiracy Theroy with Jesse Ventura. But that was a cool show. Peace- Dennis

Very interesting thread. Byz, you crack me up!
Actually, I DID see something about 12 years ago, which I consider a UFO....and I am not one to make things up....It was the first day of school and I was driving home, passing a local high school. Violent sparks were emitting from a power line that hung over the road, and just in the path I was driving, and I hit my brakes as I approached the sparks, and looked up. From the source of the sparks was a football shaped silver object moving away to the left at a 45 degree angle. After passing under the sparks, I considered stopping and looking back, but I felt fear ! and kept going. I still don't know what it was, but I reported it to a UFO network and they said it was "one of the most common sightings."

First it was the salt thing. Next came o r mmmm? a fondness for catsup.

But come on?!!! NOBODY, can fuel ITGSS (inter-galactic spaceship) on water!!!
Cannot be done. Period.

Water ice is a tantalizing find anywhere on the moon because it can serve as a natural resource for astronauts on future lunar landing missions. The ice could be melted into drinking water or be separated into its component oxygen and hydrogen to provide breathing air and rocket fuel, NASA officials have said in the past.

The ice was discovered in permanently shadowed craters at the moon's north pole. Similar conditions of perpetual night exist at the moon's south pole as well, where water ice was also confirmed to be present last year. Because these regions never see sunlight, water can stay in its frozen form indefinitely

Hope this disspells all ideas in this area of thought. Sunoco gas stations. Get real.[?].

*snaps toes*, Just when the IG gov.bodies have stopped all probe activities. i.e., mind and those other ones..

Glad some people have seen UFOs.
I still wait for aliens to visit me. Am prepared to welcome them as I put salt, ketchup & homemade cookies out on table. What more can I do?
Maybe aliens would like some of my mind drugs

Sometimes I think it's aliens that are producing these drugs.

I expect to be alienated from an alien is the ultimate conundrum that may well precipitate a high level kerfuffle and concomitant flummoxing.
