Fantastic.

I, too have waited many a night staring at the sky thinking, "pick me! pick me!". I remember one such evening trying to telepathically communicate to them that I was THE human to see on the earth, they could take my word for it. Government officials, someone in a position of power? Bah humbug. I had the answers to the universe.

Of course, I was about 18 at the time. Boy would I have freaked out, lol. Thank you aliens for using your better judgement. I'm crazy enough already.

This thread is superb.

I saw a UFO once. Then I found out it was an airplane flying out of JFK airport.

Seriously, people who report alien abductions have sleep paralysis. It's the same reason people in Medieval times reporting seeing a succubus or a demon while sleeping. Except now, our culture considers aliens and UFOs to be more realistic than demons, so that is what we expect to see.

This is VERY serious and will get serious-er when aliens find all our meds combined.
Ha, Abby Hoffman tried to levitate the Pentagon but that's nothing compared with what our combined pharmacology will do to Mork-like creatures.

Here is the thing..

I am 100% convinced that we are NOT the only life-form out there. If you think of how planets develop and how many other solar systems are out there - its ABSOLUTELY possible for there to be other life forms.

Secondly - who says carbon based life forms have to be the only form of life? What about gas based life forms, light based life forms ect. Just because we have not scientifically explained it, doesnt mean it doesnt exist, just means we havent proven it yet or found a way to explain it.

Have they been here - I have no way of knowing. I lean towards yes, but I also think if they are smart enough to get here they are smart enough to be disguised or blend in, or make people forget. If they are compassionate beings, as an evolved being might be, they would realize that we as a society are not ready to beleive fully in aliens and to do so would lead to mass confusion and panic. I think that when we are ready, they will come.
Thanks for this!

“By alienation is meant a mode of experience in which the person experiences himself as an alien. He has become, one might say, estranged from himself. He does not experience himself as the center of his world, as the creator of his own acts, but his acts and their consequences have become his masters, whom he obeys, or whom he may even worship. The alienated person is out of touch with himself as he is out of touch with any other person. He, like the others, is experienced as things are experienced; with the senses and with common sense, but at the same time without being related to oneself and to the world outside positively.”
~Erich Fromm

I don't believe in alien abductions honestly... if there are any aliens out there then they are billions of light years away and any intelligent life forms... while plausible, would be even more distant in this huge universe. You would have to be insanely advanced in order to travel that distance in a timely manner (or are in comparison to earth's organisms immortal)

That's what worm holes and space time continuims are for. The aliens have mastered space and time. I know this because the aliens living in my top dresser drawer said so. Oh, gotta go, just ran out of salt and coffee.

Hahaha, I feel the same way.

But honestly, I believe in a lot of 'supernatural' things. I have had a lot of personal experiences with the 'unknown'. However, I don't think it's worth worrying over (if you ARE worried, that is).

If you're interested in talking about it, send me a message! :-)

Do they like a dark blend? Cuz that's all I've got. If they want regular roast I'll have to run to the store.

I would be concerned that a dose of lithium may precipitate some alienation of affection?
