Today I am thankful for my warm house, running water and power in these absolutely freezing temps. There is an outage up north from the storm and am so grateful I can't even say, even though I know it is headed this way. Will enjoy this moment and hope for the best.

I am thankful for:
central heating (oh it's so cold here in the swamps of Jersey) a roof over my head food in the kitchen my happy, yappy little dog, Pippi.... a good cup of coffee people who love me a couple of bucks in the bank my understanding husband  my beautiful, intelligent college aged son (naturally)  and especially, all of you, new friends that I am making, and who understand and can empathize with my demons and psych problems!!!

1) Waking up today 2) Having heat after such a cold night 3) We didn't get the snow they called for last night 4) Having a few friends who truely care for me 5) Just being alive today |

The hospital that just hired me, called me yesterday to tell me that they're raising my starting salary.
 I'm going to finish wrapping my Christmas presents today, and then I'll be all done.

Wow, this is getting "rediculously" great news SplitImage. I am soooo very happy for you to get a raise before yo even start the job!
I'm grateful I found a pair of warm fashion boots yesterday! My feet stayed nice and warm while I walked the dog lastnight in really coooooooolllllllllldddddd weather.
