I'm thankful for being in the hospital, where I know I need to be, and the opportunity to get better.
Thanks for this!

Today I'm thankful for being blessed with the ability to understand technical information enough so that I can use some of these computerized tools at my hands to create a better life for myself.

I'm, also, thankful for my sister being able to graduate from nursing tech school even at her age and that she is on course to earn her associates degree.
And for the wonderful graduation program that I received in the mail from her today.

I am thankful I am no longer alone in this cold, cruel world, that I have someone by my side to take the journey with

I am also thankful for my friends who have stood by me through thick and thin

I am also thankful for my job as a summer camp counselor

I am also thankful for my new ability to be mindful of the present moment,,not to be frightened of how horrific my past has been..........

I am thankful for life, my service dog Caleb, my home, my air conditioning, my car with a new engine that I didn't have to pay for, my income even though from disability, my community which is basically quiet and very safe, my neighbors who are likewise, my help, my doctors and physical therapist, all the luxuries I have: computer, tv, iPhone, printer scanner etc., to God for my salvation and hope.

Today I'm thankful for my friend, Rod how allowed himself to be an avenue of blessing to me tonight. Just out of the blue with no prompting he bought and brought me a bunch of groceries tonight. Most of which will have me with good food to eat for the rest of this month. I literally have less than $2 and although I do have some unemployment money coming to me soon I'm not sure just when it's going to arrive. I was actually wondering if I would have enough food in my cupboards to last until then and was thinking of what I could cook and what I could make last long enough until I could buy more. Rod came with the answer. Praise God for such a blessing in my friend.

I didn't ask for anything. I made a joking comment on Facebook today about who was going to invite me over and feed me for dinner. I wasn't serious. I had enough to make something to eat. Rod's gift was a total surprise and a blessing.

Just like over a week ago I had a stranger from my photography/modeling networking site contact me wanting to send me money just because I had mentioned that I was experiencing some difficulties in my life. I didn't even mention finance or give detail.

Two weeks in a row. I don't even know how to explain my thankfulness, but tonight that's what I'm thankful for.
