(((Elysium))) - thanks for clarifying this. If you ever do become engaged, I would expect a personal PM and mail me a piece of rainbow wedding cake.

I am so sorry to hear people are posting such things. I hadn't seen that post but I do know in some places, engagement is possible for the other team.

There is just one thing I would like to make clear however.....from the picture you posted on your first post......I grew up a complete tomboy.....I stayed a complete tomboy.......but would never be a lesbian......so I just want to clarify that not every tomboy ends up a lesbian......it sort of come across that way with the way it's stated. If I had married the right man, I would still be married. To be quite honest, I can't relate to women in most cases because I just can't think like them & am not attracted to their thinking. Just hope we don't fall into generalities.....it's difficult when we make statements like that to not end up having others feel in general that all tomboys in the past end up lesbians (I know it didn't say that, but it sort of felt like it implied it when I read it)......just felt the need to make that statement after reading that.....sorry.

I meant to add to my post that I was sorry that someone was so thoughtless & cruel to say things that are untrue about your situation. I think it's so cruel when people play games like that.

Understood that it was a statement of who you are.....it just hit me a little personal having been a very very tomboy that I have always been all my life......I love competing with guys as they were always a challenge......women on the other hand, I had nothing in common with.

Interesting the directions out lives take us.....wishing you the best.

Not much into cake.....but it that was a rainbow pie....lol.......enjoy your cake.

(((((Elysium)))))--Such a lovely bride!!! lol!!!

Wow---gossip--wicked gossip!!! Hmmm----My daughter practices Wicca also.

It's really very interesting; when she began studying it, she would ask me about the red fabric, carpet by the doors in our home, and the rosemary, Rue, lavendar, sage, -

I grew all my own herbs--------also always lit certain colored candles on particular nights----I ne'er knew why--My mom, and her mom- (Swedish) always did certain things...................she finally traced it to Druid foundation; Nordic practice---and Free Masons in our family.

I find it fascinating that I have done certain unusual (broom behind the door, etc)
things all my life---only because my mother did them.

Then I became an R.N. myself, and practiced alot of "Touch" therapy, and holistic, alternative medicine at home. I do believe there is a cure for everthing that ails mankind in Nature. You, as a Nurse, know that many of our medicines are derived from plants and flowers and trees, for many centuries.

Strange, but then I've always been a bit strange!!! We were Episcopalian...................Thanks for the cake!---hugs- theo

Joke or no joke it was from a man .
Had it been from a woman it may have been funny.
Lighten up peeps for God's sake you're giving me an urge to eat rainbow pie.

Had to edit because I used the word God ..... and some don't believe. I respect that. My apologies.

Gender has nothing to do with it!! It has to do with the type of relationship one poster has with another. This is the type of joke I would have with someone I had a more intimate friendship with (not sexually intimate). It kind of shocked me that you felt it was appropriate to post this about me. I wouldn't have expected that.

But like I said....we're good.

Obviously, as a guy this doesn't apply to me but I thought it was such a cool button that I bought one years ago that says,

"I'm sorry I missed church, I was at home practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian"

The town I live in...the straight people are undercover, the Rainbow Bar is the centerpiece of town and next weekend is fuzzy bear weekend.
Thanks for this!
