I have two images of myself. There's the super confident career woman that I present on the outside and in my career, and then there's the messed up depressed alcoholic whose personal life is a mess, so split image. It also refers to the splits I have between my ego states, where some of them are really tough survivors and some are scared little girls.

It's the name I've been using on-line for about 8 years now.

Great thread. I have always wonder this myself so I have really learned a lot about everyone today. Thanks for starting it.

My usernames seems self evident. When my symptoms act up I feel pretty insane so I guess when I signed up I was feeling pretty desperate for some sanity and thought I might find it here.

I was here before as chocolatelover and I often wish I could have it back again.

opps.... hope that disclosure doesn't get me in trouble with the mods. eeks!

My favorite animal is the squirrel, so that explains that part. And I was born in 1983, so that's where I got the year/number from.

I got my username because I love literature and writing, however I"m a horrible speller and make a lot of mistakes or "typos" that I have to go back and correct.

I decided on Typo because it represents my love for writing and the process and also it is okay to make mistakes because we learn from them and how to approach a situation next time.

Years ago a friend linked me to this version of The Fool's Journey. They said I reminded them of the Fool. Coming from some, that might not have been a compliment but from them, it was. I was fascinated and soon started using usernames based on the Fool.

I was pleasantly surprised to find "Fool Zero" still available when I got here; I'd expected to have to settle for Fool7 or something. I didn't want to use the numeral 0 lest people read it as "Fool-oh*" so I spelled out the Zero.

Malady156 later started calling me FooZe so I adopted that as my official nickusername. I never found out how she pronounced it but I've been pronouncing it to rhyme (more or less) with "choosy."

So now you know!

We have DID and the ones who are 'up front' the most are all named Erik, and there are more here than just the Eriks, so....think of it as Eriks + , really!
