I am currently training to be a make-up artist, but not feeling very creative right now.
I need to think of someone, either in a musical, a tv show, a pop band, just someone who is in the media, and re create their make-up.
Whose Make-up do you like?
I'm just looking for some inspiration, and i love make-up chat so if anyone just want to generally talk about it, feel free.

There's a line of makeup that makes the oriental look with an almost white concealer and a white foundation, they both have a pink undertone. I use it under my eyes as I'm a pale skin tone. I think it's lovely. Of course, you could call it KISS if on a man but that's more Halloween!!! LOL I think the oriental look is lovely and the eyes can really be played up. Does Amy Winehouse do that? It's really hard to think of anyone distinctive. How about Dolly Parton? Or Oprah? I think Oprah's makeup transformation is amazing. Just some suggestions.

Not really my department being a big tough man and all , but David Bowie's Aladdin Sane/Ziggy Stardust era make up is pretty amazing. More stage make up than actual make up tho.

Or widgets if you can find any images of Siouxie Sioux in the late 70s/early 80s, I think that early goth look is pretty cool. If your looking for inspiration, these kind of extreme, out-there images might help to provoke ideas, even if you have to tone them down! Good luck!
