My bday was Saturday...I went to Saturday morning prayer at church, next to the most beautiful mall in our city where I met a friend for lunch at a fancy restaurant, bought a beautiful sweater, and some really good shampoo and conditioner, next I had 7 people over for dinner, all from church so they were great people, very engaging! Next it was off to karaoke, where I met 3 other friends, on of them a dance professor who danced great to all the songs! Made up
 with my boyfriend that night after a fight as well..love him to pieces! Love life!! 38 never looked so good! My boyfriend got me a beautiful necklace, i have never had anyone buy me a necklace before!!!

 ) recently wasn't too bad either, but it sounds like your day was picture perfect!

I enjoyed turning 30. Maybe 40 wasn't so great, but that was only because I was bracing myself for people making fun of me about it, as other members of my family had been made fun of before me, and I'm always sensitive to that.
Turning 30 meant I was still young, but no longer SO young that people would automatically treat me like a child and/or assume I don't know anything. That's why my 30th was the happiest birthday of my life so far. I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday. |

What a special Birthday you had. Celebrating with good friends is the best way to enjoy Birthdays....sounds like you have found wonderful groups of people to be good friends with, & it is wonderful that you have found someone you can care about so much & who cares about you.
