Tips To Start Journaling
By Margarita Tartakovsky, M.S.

http://psychcentral.com/blog/archives/2011/04/04/tips-to-start-journaling/

I have maybe over 30 journals that at boxed up for my daughter (she asked for them). So I have started writing again. I have tried to write on the computer but for me there is no replacement for writing in a journal.
My handwriting is erratic and my spelling is getting worse. But I have to get over that and realize it is what I do. My mind is so busy journalizing helps me focus.

How about you? Have your kept journals? Have they been helpful?

Yes!!! YES!!! YES!!!! and I look back over the 18 years of healing and see how I can still relate to some and see how far I have come also.

I like to close my eyes and just journal, putting a bit of Enya into the ipod and just write and I totally agree with you Sunny D that imo, I truly have to write it down or I feel no connectedness(a word?) to that or those feelings.

I still love writing and I counted them and I have 43 full journals.

Great Topic SUNNYD Crew

Thank you for the tips. I will take a look at them

I like to journal, but I seem to ramble and bore myself . I find I am writing for an audience instead of being myself sometimes. As if someone is watching or something, I don't know.

But I like the idea of it, so I will read the tips and see if there is hope for me
